Team Development
Team development and its ultimate success is everyone’s responsibility. Team leaders and team members who are actively and jointly involved in pursuit of the team’s mission and have a deep sense of responsibility for the team will undoubtedly achieve high levels of performance. CMOE has been involved in team development training and initiatives for over 35 years. We have identified the skills and tools required for teams to quickly and effectively progress through the stages of team development to reach new levels of success.CMOE’s Team Development programs are designed to help intact teams, cross-functional teams, or team leaders build and maintain a cohesive team and elevate the team’s standards of performance. Our programs help participants:
- Assess the team’s strengths and how to further capitalize on those strengths.
- Create a safe environment so the team can “discuss the un-discussable.”
- Identify the issues that may be limiting the team’s potential.
- Identify the primary strategies needed to ensure ongoing team development.
- Resolve problems and find practical solutions to current team challenges and issues.
- Create trust, respect, and collaboration while avoiding distrust and division.
- Develop agreements and commitment for action plans and ongoing accountability measurements.
While CMOE’s Team Development program can be delivered as a one-time event (one day or multi-day format), we also provide ongoing team development interventions and assistance in critically analyzing the identifying the needs and areas for more effective team development and performance. Team Development programs can be delivered at the client’s site of choice or in an outdoor retreat setting. But regardless of the setting, participants walk away with renewed motivation for enhancing team performance, leadership, and unity.
