Marco Chan
Marco Chan has a proven track record of achieving outstanding business results and developing people in the global economy. As a senior executive at FedEx for 20 years, he managed a diverse number of operations successfully; including customer call centers, package movement operation, supply chain services, and leadership training, in the United States, China and other parts of Asia.He developed a global business leadership program for the owners and key executives of Global Service Partners that operate on behalf of FedEx in many international locations. In a joint project with the International School of Business at the University of Memphis, he designed and implemented a very successful 5-day training class called Global Education that taught members of the business community how to conduct business within various international cultures throughout the world. He chaired the diversity efforts of FedEx Asian employees for four years. For his contribution, he was nominated by FedEx, and received the Best and Brightest Minority Award from the Dollar and Sense Magazine in 2001.
In his community, he serves on the Board of Director of the Greater Memphis Chinese Association, the Advisory Board for the Department of Management Information Systems and the Advisory Board for the Department of Supply Chain Management at the University of Memphis.
